We are hiring a part time Fitness Specialist to join our team. Ideal candidate would be available for 4 days per week at 6 hours per day. The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.
How you will make an impact :
- Instructing fitness classes for senior population with varying abilities.
- Performing fitness orientations for residents.
- Performing one on one personal training sessions.
- Promoting and assisting in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and physical independence for older adult population.
- Maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for residents throughout the three fitness centers and aquatics center.
- Assisting with coordination and implementation of wellness / fitness programming.
- Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training with the ability to work with high risk population.
- Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.
