The administrative assistant is responsible for administrative duties within the athletic department, including, but not limited to : athletic team travel planning and organization, assist with billing and invoice processing, summer camps coordination, assist with home game management, and other duties as assigned by the athletic director. This position provides assistance and support to the Athletic Director to assist with the duties of other Assistant Directors and Coaches as assigned by the athletic director.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
- Experience working in a collegiate athletic program, preferably at the NAIA level is desired.
- Ability to serve as a strong Christian role model / mentor for student athletes and actively contribute to the spiritual development of athletes.
- Must possess strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal, in the performance of job duties.
- Ability to complete tasks that have set deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must have and maintain certification of First Aid and CPR
- General proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Self-starter, highly motivated and well-organized
