Commercial Supplier Services Supervisor

Role And Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and overseeing a regional team (2-5 members) of supplier services coordinators
• Accountable for timely actions with a focus on data accuracy and creating an environment that sets the highest standard for supplier satisfaction.
• Developing a standardization of processes, activities, and functions across the team and within North America.
• Work with all areas (Operations, Logistics, Finance, etc.) to ensure the highest levels of service
• Set challenging goals, coach, and develop team members for professional development, industry knowledge, and create a talent pipeline for Sims Metal
• Support strategic and other projects as required
  
  

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3 years minimum experience in supplier/customer service or related role
• Excellent communication and organization
• Demonstrated passion for the highest level of customer/supplier service
  
  

Preferred Skills

• MS suite experience (excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Inventory and cost management
• Audit and compliance experience
• Proficiency in ERP or similar systems
• Order management experience
