What You ll Do

As a Financial Analyst, your primary responsibilities include analyzing financial and operational data to provide actionable insights, identifying trends, developing and managing financial models and supporting ad hoc projects. This role will also help manage SimuTech Group s analytics infrastructure and visualization tool (Power BI). This position requires proficiency in financial analysis, data interpretation, and effective communication of business insights through data visualization.

Financial Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze financial statement data

Financial Modeling: Build and refine business and financial models to forecast future performance and evaluate different business strategies.

Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Risk Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential financial risks associated with projects.

Budgeting: Develop and manage business planning model.

Analytics: Help develop KPIs and metrics and build visualizations using tools like Power BI.

Task Ownership: Approach tasks methodically, ensuring they are completed with accuracy and consistency.

What You ll Bring

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related fields.
• CPA and/or MBA a plus.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and tools like Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interest or experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools.
• Expertise in using financial modeling software to create accurate projections.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience or interest in analytics architecture development and/or management

Pay Range

$60,000 - $80,000 (Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location)

Location: Rochester, NY infrequent travel may be required.
