The Practice Manager will be primarily responsible for direct onsite management of the daily operations of the ambulatory physician practice(s) at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital or various off site locations. The Practice Manager partners with key leaders across Sinai Health Systems various departments in decision making and ensures a bidirectional flow of information. The Practice Manager promotes excellence in all areas of ambulatory operations and serves as the champion for continued process improvement work. The Practice Manager will focus on the patient and family experience, quality and safety, coordination of care across the continuum, use of technological tools and solutions including EMR, metrics reporting, customer service, and oversees the budget, billing and related revenue cycle services.

- Reports to : System Director, Sinai Medical Group Operations
- Provides Supervision to : Medical Assistants, MA Leads, and Receptionists.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES :
Supervising, coaching, and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team of 15 .Leading the execution of in-clinic operational initiatives.Problem-solving team member and patient issues in the moment.Ensuring our patients are always delighted with the level of care they receive.Ensuring scheduling and billing processes are executed efficiently.Advocating for your clinic, team, and patients.Supporting and contributing to on-the-ground marketing initiatives.Generally ensuring clinic operations are running smoothly on a daily basis.Providing practice management in support of the physician-patient relationship to optimize patient access.Managing practice operations and responding to patient, physician, and employee issues in a timely fashion.Achieving performance standards for revenue cycle, analyzing monthly physician income and expenses, managing office expenses, and partnering with physician leaders to communicate financial results to physicians and staff and execute Medical Group plans for improvements.MINIMUM EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree preferredMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE :
2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting preferredPrevious physician management experience preferredFinancial management, operations management, and Electronic Medical Record experience preferred; 340B experience is a plusHospital Based Clinic experience is a plusKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
