Sinayskaya Yuniver PC, a reputable law firm based in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our office. This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual with strong leadership and management skills to ensure smooth in office operations and a positive work environment.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Serve as the point person for facilities / office maintenance and building-related issues.
  • Assist with office moves and manage and maintain telephone and IT infrastructure.
  • Draft, circulate, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and office-wide policies.
  • Identify opportunities for office management improvements.
  • Manage day-to-day office activities, prioritizing support staff and facilities usage.
  • Manage office supplies, maintain inventory, track budget, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring new staff, including managing the onboarding process.
  • Plan and implement office meetings and events, and serve as secretary for board meetings.
  • Attend confidential financial and supervisor meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate with Managing Partners, Operations Manager, and Bookkeeper for administrative support.
  • Manage the firms billing and collections process.
  • Oversee employee benefits, including health insurance, disability, 401(k), and profit-sharing options.
  • Maintain a professional and positive work environment by fostering effective communication across teams.
  • Participate in strategic planning with management to identify and accomplish organizational goals.
  • Provide reports related to business plans, budgets, and financial statements.
  • Draft and implement operational and human resource policies and practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in office management, preferably in a legal office.
  • Proven leadership experience and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supervising support staff and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with outstanding communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn other case management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client relations experience.
  • Ability to implement policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a growing team.
