Spartan Industrial & Marine, a division of Singer Industrial, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving team member with experience in the Industrial and Hydraulic Hose industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accuracy and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as handling inventory management for industrial and hydraulic hose products, parts, and orders. Duties/Responsibilities

• Learn, understand, and accurately execute domestic and international shipping and receiving processes specific to the industrial and hydraulic hose industry.
• Identify and handle various hose parts, fittings, and related products with precision and care.
• Pull customer orders for shipment, ensuring all necessary components of industrial and hydraulic hose products are included and correctly processed.
• Load and unload truck shipments, ensuring proper handling of industrial and hydraulic hose materials and components.
• Store inventory of industrial and hydraulic hose products in an organized manner and ensure they are easily accessible for future orders.
• Perform inventory counts and inspections on industrial and hydraulic hose products and materials.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Maintain high-quality standards when packaging industrial and hydraulic hose products for shipment, ensuring that items are securely and safely packed for transport.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks and team members as needed to support the overall efficiency of operations.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe, following all safety protocols in handling materials.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support warehouse operations.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Prior experience in the industrial and hydraulic hose industry is required, with specific knowledge of different types of industrial and hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related products.
• Strong ability to identify and differentiate hose parts, fittings, and components to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Strong computer skills for inventory management and processing shipping orders.
• Customer service-oriented with a high attention to detail and the ability to meet customer expectations.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact with team members and customers effectively.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis and handle industrial and hydraulic hose products.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Team player who is ready to collaborate and assist colleagues as needed.
