Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House AM Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with experience in both quick service fast food restaurants and fine dining establishments. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional customer service while overseeing daily operations and managing staff in a fast-paced environment. This would consist of 3-4 set mornings per week, with at least one Saturday or Sunday shift. Flexibility in scheduling is a must have.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front of house operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Train, mentor, and manage team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in the management of kitchen operations, collaborating with culinary staff to maintain quality and presentation standards.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing effective solutions to enhance satisfaction.
- Monitor dining area cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement promotional activities and assist with menu planning to drive sales and enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain inventory levels for some front of house supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices, kitchen management, and dining standards.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience in quick service restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
