Position Summary
Site Director position will manage the overall security services and administration as it relates to the management of the security services of a specific contract. Direct all management-related task(s) relative to the security operations, including but not limited to reporting; staffing; overtime, quality control, and fleet management, timely invoicing, audits, operational expectations. compliance monitoring and audits.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage and train a team of security officers, evaluate the effectiveness of these individuals in carrying out required client and Mulligan Security objectives, including completion of all onsite training in a timely fashion.
- Work directly with client at all levels to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain schedules for the client location and schedule staff to ensure all posts are filled and contract requirements are met.
- Manage overtime, zero hour (attrition) and budget for the entire site and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Provide weekly reports to the designated Mulligan Security superior regarding operational issues and updates.
- Respond and facilitate emergency procedures through police / fire departments.
- Facilitate weekly client meetings; attend after-hours client and tenant board meetings as needed,
- Prepare and attend Roll Calls
- Maintain daily logs of unusual incidents and requests for service.
- Issue equipment to guards and maintain required records of issuance.
- Facilitate payroll, including retrieval of time sheets, approval and certification of weekly hours, process, resolve and approve payroll discrepancies; approve time off requests.
- Develop and maintain post orders (job responsibilities) for each client post.
- Identify hiring needs and create job requisitions to facilitate the recruitment and hiring process with HR. Interview applicants and make final recommendations on hiring decisions.
- Manage security officer work force with respect to disciplinary actions by proactively identifying, addressing and documenting disciplinary action up to and including final warnings in collaboration with HR.
- Make documented recommendations for employment actions including suspensions, terminations, transfers, etc. to be reviewed by HR.
- Report all Breaches per applicable methods
- Assist with client (resident) de-escalation
- Address uniform issues with Security Officers, request replacement items through applicable channels, if needed and proactively request items based on extreme weather needs or normal usage.
- Facilitate distribution and communication of policies and procedures
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques involved in protecting and safeguarding against theft, vandalism, and disruptive, violent, illegal actions along with de-escalation techniques and Active Shooter awareness.
- Knowledge of the security problems encountered in protecting property and persons.
- Knowledge of building security rules, regulations, procedures.
- Knowledge of the laws of arrest.
- Knowledge of fire system panel.
- Training in general life saving, CPR and AED equipment.
- Proper training on CCTV and owner’s card key/security systems.

- On client site with occasional requirements to work in office.
- Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years’ management experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the guarding industry managing at least 100 officers
- Strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills and experience in client relations
- Strong preference for candidates with a bachelor’s degree and experience managing profit/loss statements and with client negotiations/collections matters.
- Prior verifiable employment references and ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen.
