Reports to: Senior Technical Analyst
General Description:
Actively participates in the Information Technology function for the company. Specifically:
1. Serve as primary technical resource for monitoring, responding, and resolving help desk related issues and providing general PC desktop support to users.
2. Serve as primary technical resource for all hardware purchasing, warranty monitoring, inventory, and replacement activities including desktop and laptop computers, monitors, mouse and keyboards, cell phones, etc.
3. Act as system owner or backup system owner of various assigned validated and non-validated systems, including administration, upgrading, working with process owner(s) and CSV on change control, assisting with vendor support and database administration.
4. Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting all telephony (VoIP) devices, systems, and infrastructure as well as printers, copiers, scanners, and audio/visual equipment.
5. Assist with monitoring and support critical network infrastructure components such as servers, routers, switches, wireless access points and cabling infrastructure.
6. Assist with support the Company windows domain which includes account creation/termination, IT access control and data security, including e-mail and other systems that may be impacted by account security in accordance with established SOPs.
7. Manage and assist with IT security protection such as AV solutions and security patch management.
8. Assist with designing and delivering IT technical training courses and documentation to assist staff and clients.
9. Produce or modify technical documentation for new and existing applications.
10. Author or revise departmental SOPs as needed. Comply with quality and safety management systems including requirements for documentation, training, system use, SOPs, processes, and procedures
11. General support required of a company where everyone is expected to perform multiple tasks both inside and outside their department to meet the needs of the business.
12. Manage time effectively to ensure that end user and project needs are met while meeting other deadlines and requirements.

Work Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in general IT support (computer hardware and software installation, maintenance, repair) and helpdesk operations within a Windows AD / network environment.
- Good working knowledge and support experience with Windows operating systems, MS Office applications, Office 365 functions and typical PC desktop software packages.
- Experience in supporting copiers, printers, scanners and other PC peripheral devices.
- Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet and basic network infrastructure technologies, cabling and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with understanding of GAMP, a plus
- May require some evening and/or weekend hours and on call as needed.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment.
Education Requirements:
- Associates degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; may substitute with 2 or more years of IT experience.
- Certifications/training in some combination of A , Network , MCP, MSCA, CCNA or similar, a plus
