Remodeling Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Execute commercial painting projects with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other trades for fixture installation and restoration tasks.
• Perform minor repairs such as plastering and masonry work to ensure surfaces are ready for painting.
• Assist in remodeling projects by providing finishing touches that enhance the overall aesthetic.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Follow all safety protocols while working with hazardous materials and equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Painter in residential or commercial settings.
• Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
• Skills in remodeling, concrete finishing, fixture installation, welding, masonry, and carpentry are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
