ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
REPORTS TO : Finance Director
JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for bank deposits, accounts payable, payroll functions, reconciling accounts receivables, and other accounting functions as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Assist in maintaining payroll files on a biweekly basis.
- Independently maintain and process accounts payable with computerized system.
- Prepare bank deposits and make deposits daily.
- Work with vendors regarding A / P discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts receivable payments.
- Assist in bookkeeping / accounting functions, as directed.
- Maintain inventory list of fixed assets.
- File documents and records.
- Assist Finance Director as needed
- Perform other finance duties as assigned.
