We are seeking an experienced Operator/Scheduler to join our team at Siouxland Community Health Center. As an Operator/Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office and clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have solid experience and advanced knowledge of electronic medical/health records (EMR) systems, basic computer skills, and previous phone experience. They will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including answering and directing incoming phone calls, accessing the Practice Management System to inform patients of appointment information, formulating phone notes from patient calls in EMR, and working directly with medical staff to ensure accurate communication and understanding between patient and staff. Additionally, they will assist patients in completing all necessary intake forms at initial visit, including demographic and medical history and financial verification.
Qualifications and Requirements
Successful candidates will have a minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent, basic computer skills, and previous phone experience. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. They must also be able to perform primary functions of the position, which include but are not limited to:
