Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Computer skills with Electronic Medical / Health Records (EMR) experience a definite plus.
- Previous phone experience a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and use overhead paging system.
- Access Practice Management System to inform patients of appointment information.
- Formulate phone notes from patient calls in EMR.
- Works directly with medical staff to ensure accurate communication and understanding between patient and staff.
- Assists patients in completing all necessary intake forms at initial visit, including but not limited to, demographic and medical history and financial verification.
- These functions are not all inclusive
