About the role: A sanitation lead is in charge of the overall health and cleanliness of the facility, as well as managing their team to be successful. This person is responsible for collaborating with the other leads to ensure the overall success of the shift.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Train Sanitation associate and Janitors
- Oversee job duties of Sanitation Associate and Janitor
- Assist with scheduling of Sanitation Associates and Janitors
- Maintain chemical and janitorial supplies inventory
- Keep lockers, bathrooms, halls, lunchroom, offices, parking lot and perimeter clean
- Report any issues or deviations with equipment, materials and personnel equipment to operations manager
- Able to operate sitdown forklift
- Perform all other duties as directed

Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years work experience in a similar or equivalent role
- Prior work experience in leading or managing people

- Demonstrated ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate machinery and lift, bend, stoop and reach
- Must operate in a safe manner at all times
- Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others
- Must demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
