Job Description
This role will contribute to our incident response capabilities by taking on the primary cyber security incident responder role within the SXM InfoSec department. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating internal incident response efforts and developing new security procedures to prepare the enterprise for cyber attacks.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively call and lead security incident bridges to coordinate internal incident response efforts
- Develop and train first responders in new security procedures
- Partner with the Vulnerability Management team to support triage investigations
- Expand the SIEM program to ensure log coverage and alert development
Requirements
- Strong understanding of incident response processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of NIST SP 800-61
