Job Overview
This role will contribute to our incident response capabilities by taking on the primary cyber security incident responder role within the SXM InfoSec department. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and triaging cyber security incident alerts and reports, and coordinating internal incident response efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively call and lead security incident bridges to coordinate internal incident response efforts
- Develop and train first responders in new security procedures
- Partner with the Vulnerability Management team to support triage investigations
- Expand the SIEM program to ensure log coverage and alert development
Requirements
- 5-8 years of combined Information Security experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- GCIH GIAC Certified Incident Handler or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of NIST SP 800-61
