How you’ll make an impact:
SiriusXM Media is looking for an Account Executive who will play a critical role in developing and managing successful advertising programs for key strategic clients. This individual contributor will be responsible for maintaining, growing existing & generating new business with advertisers and ad agencies.

What you’ll do:
  • Sells to mid-size clients (some large)
  • Primarily responsible for growing existing accounts, but also prospects and generates new business/clients
  • Developing professional and sales expertise, applies company sales policies and procedures to achieve goals
  • Evolving from engaging clients on the phone or through virtual meetings to leading face to face sales meetings with key decision makers
  • Coordinates pre and post sale efforts to insure accurate and timely insertion of advertisements.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining client and prospect data in SFDC
  • Generates detailed market reports, clearly outlining meeting results and next steps action plans
  • Receives light instruction on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
  • May rely on manager to secure high level contacts, introductions and meetings
  • Works heavily with manager to develop meeting structure and narrative

What you’ll need:
  • 2 years digital advertising sales experience.
  • Has working knowledge of industry, company products and services
  • Increasing complexity of products sold
  • Developing understanding of advertiser industry business trends; historic, current and foreseeable future
  • Developing grasp of client’s advertising history, current budget and competitor intel
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Attends industry events, and organizes client entertainment to deepen agency and/or client relationships
  • Negotiates and closes advertising sales deals, engages support from manager during complex/more strategic negotiations
  • Interacts with peers in the sales organization / customers / vendors to interpret information and improve sales processes
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
