How you'll make an impact:

The Associate Producer is responsible for supporting the Producer in creating and executing original podcast productions according to YMH Studios' podcast strategy. Reporting to the Producer, the Associate Producer is accountable for supporting all aspects of projects to which they are assigned including (but not limited to) production and creative, editorial feedback, packaging, delivery and operations of podcast format content across all YMH Studios programming verticals.

What you'll do:

• Provide support in preparing any type of content needed for all phases of production across the YMH podcast network.
• Quickly respond to needs within a studio environment, working closely with the talent and producers, helping to run the required production equipment, prepping any necessary clips, and handling pre-and-post production duties.
• Monitor emails across podcasts for content submission and possible opportunities.
• Screen audience calls during production of podcasts.
• Provide support and creative input for existing shows to ensure ongoing quality and originality.
• Write and produce promotional material in ways true to the host's voice and the show's spirit.
• Assist EP and Producer with setting up pre-taped interviews or any required pre-show editing. Must be able to multitask as incumbents of this position may be assigned to more than one podcast and perform slightly different functions across podcasts.

What you'll need:

• Understand the mechanics of producing, launching and running a successful podcast.
• Experience working collaboratively with creative and editorial talent and possess a network of contacts within the entertainment and comedy industries.
• Comfortable working with talent, comedians and high-profile individuals.
• Understand emerging, digital-first media models.
• Must be a self-directed and creative individual with keen attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and proven abilities in multitasking, organization, time management and meeting deadlines.
• Must have ability to work weekends as needed.
• Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Mac, Windows
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
