Job Summary:
Sisneros Bros. Manufacturing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging and Shipping Assistant to join our team in Belen. This role is essential for ensuring our high-quality ductwork components are accurately packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and excellent paperwork management skills. Responsibilities:
- Packaging:
- Accurately package finished ductwork components according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Ensure products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate packaging equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Shipping Preparation:
- Generate and verify shipping labels and documentation.
- Prepare and organize shipments for various carriers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of packaged goods.
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Paperwork Management:
- Maintain organized and accurate records of packaging and shipping activities.
- Process shipping documents and invoices.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect packaged goods for accuracy and quality.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Work Ethic:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, including punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ensure all packaged items are labeled correctly.
- Verify all shipping information.
- Double check all paper work for accuracy.
- Forklift Operation (Training Provided):
- Participate in company-provided forklift training and certification.
- Safely operate a forklift to move and load materials as needed.
- Follow all company saftey proceedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
