Job Summary
Customer Service & Sales Associate for a prestigious, heritage-driven textile design brand based in Litchfield CT. Primary responsibilities include processing orders, managing customer payments, and assisting our valued clients with their inquiries as well as customer sales outreach, work closely with our tight-knit sales team to ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience from start to finish. Ideal candidates will have a deep passion for the interior design industry, be eager to bring energy and tech innovation to the role, and see this position as a long-term commitment. This position is Hybrid with one day a week required in our Litchfield CT office.
Duties
Customer Service & Order Management:
1. Order Processing: Handle order entries, payment processing, and ensure the accuracy of all customer orders.
2. Customer Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries across multiple channels, addressing questions and providing detailed information about our products, services, prices, lead times, and customization options.
3. Issue Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve customer complaints and concerns with empathy, ensuring a positive outcome.
4. CRM Management: Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions.
5. Mastery of Netsuite and Shopify and maintaining all software systems functions as the lead in house tech go to Ideal
Skills:
1. Net suite certification , willing to commute to work one day a week in an office in Litchfield CT.
2. Experience: At least two years of experience in a customer service or sales support role within the interior design industry, with a deep understanding of the customer service process from start to finish.
3. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Tech-Savvy: Mastery of NetSuite . Familiarity with CRM tools is preferred.
5. Soft Accounting Skills: Experience with basic accounting tasks, such as processing payments or handling invoicing, is a plus.
6. Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, and other team members.
7. Commitment to Service: A customer-first mindset and a dedication to providing exceptional service to all clients.
