What does a Activities Coordinator/STNA do at SND?
· Integrates the charism, values, mission and philosophy of SND in all services.
· Creates opportunities for the residents to grow holistically while exercising their abilities, interests, and talents.
· Assess all residents for activity interests and abilities. Promotes hobbies in keeping with residents’ interests.
· Plans activities and encourages residents to assist in the planning. Plans trips and arranges transportation and supervision.
· Orders and uses supplies/equipment safely and within a set budget.
· Prepares a monthly calendar for activities in conjunction with the Health Care Director.
· Be actively aware and involved in the resident's safety. Report emergencies and safety issues to the Director of Healthcare.
· Assist patients with ADLS daily as needed including bathing/showers, toileting (including changing of incontinent products and care), dressing, eating, personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, bed mobility, am and pm care, laundry needs.
