Position Summary
Assist the summer school principal in the preparation of summer programming and with the overall administration of Summer School June 16th - July 24th.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
February 1-June 30, assist with summer school preparation, which may include:
- Answering prospective attendees' emails and phone calls.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of summer school course offerings and schedules.
- Assist with the orientation of summer school teachers/camp leaders.
- Assist with the promotion of the summer school programs.
- Assist with managing summer school materials (textbooks, etc.)
- Assist with the organization and distribution of emergency forms and contact lists.
- Assist with other administrative tasks.
Assist with the administration of Summer School June 16th-July 24th:
- Supervise all programming and summer school personnel and evaluate instruction as needed.
- Provide feedback and support to summer school teachers and camp leaders, ensuring alignment with program goals and school values.
- Manage registration and fees- maintain current registration lists, send confirmation emails, track attendance, and collect fees and issue refunds.
- Manage communication with families through emails and phone calls.
- Assist with maintaining the budget, collecting and tracking personnel documentation, and collecting and tracking vendor paperwork.
- Manage emergency plans and paperwork.
Education & Experience
- B.A. degree
- 3-5 years teaching experience

- Experience supervising/managing others is preferred.

- lift and/or carry moderate weight:10-20 lbs of school materials such as textbooks

- Work with frequent interruptions
Work Environment
This position is a combination of office work and supervising programming around campus, including outdoors.
