Sisterson & Co. LLP, a regional CPA firm located in Pittsburgh, PA, is hiring qualified candidates to join our Consulting Services team. Our Consulting Department is a dedicated advisory team focusing on collateral field examinations for commercial lenders. We are seeking regional candidates to serve as the Administrative Associate for our Consulting Department.
This part-time or full-time position (24-40 hours per week) reports to the Consulting Partner. In this role, you will have the ability to perform functions, both in-person and remotely in our hybrid environment, with two days a week required in the office. The Administrative Associate will support the consulting team’s work in the field, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements and logistics for consultants.

You Will Succeed In This Role If You Offer
- Some education in the business field (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
- Proven experience as an executive assistant, adept at supporting small to medium-sized teams.
- Keen interest in assisting with various projects, including organizing presentations and reports for both internal and external distribution.
- Outstanding experience in proofreading reports using strong editing skills covering grammar, spelling, business writing, and formalized reporting.
- Skills in handling invoices, documenting financial expenditure, and sending final reports for internal review and to external constituents, including consulting clients. Experienced overseeing credit card statements and tracking spending for professionals.
- Exceptional knack for organizing schedules, providing resources to enhance communication among team members, and encouraging accountability through regular updates in team meetings and in writing.
- Proficiency in performing general administrative duties using technology such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Office Suite; expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Eagerness to learn more about the accounting and finance industry.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with both established and new clientele, dedicated to maintaining the highest level of client and employee confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exemplary professionalism and customer service when representing the firm, including interactions with partners, staff, and clients.
