Summary : Support production by maintaining flow of product in and out of warehouse. Maintain accuracy and organization of raw materials and packaging in warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supply production personnel with raw materials and packaging items.
- Maintain and organize warehouse.
- Conduct bin to bin transfers, transfer order to supply production lines, production line supply returns, and order picking and shipment in SAP.
- Verify correct and consistent information on finished goods prior to moving the goods to the Quality Control hold area.
- Verify that material is properly identified in storage and bin locations.
- Move left over raw materials and packaging materials into warehouse at conclusion of production run.
- Assist in inventory tasks and cycle counting.
- Monitor raw materials and report shortages to Materials Manager.
- Load or unload trucks as needed.
- Operate a forklift for the majority of the of the shift.
- Responsible for safely moving product from one location to another.
- Maintain forklift truck and record daily forklift inspections
- Maintain and organize the WIP raw material storage racks.
Protective Clothing / Equipment Requirements :
Required use of safety glasses and safety shoes.
