Community Health Nurse

SiteLabs is an early-stage company enabling independent pharmacies to conduct point of care diagnostic testing and screenings using our online testing platform and test kits.  In January we launched a program in the Greensboro / Triad NC area in partnership with Cone Health to provide free health screenings through our network of local pharmacies. Screenings are free to the surrounding community with a focus on engaging at-risk individuals.  These screenings will be offered in-pharmacy and at wellness events in the community.

SiteLabs is looking for a Community Engagement Representative to work closely with our participating independent pharmacies and communities in the Triad and surrounding area to ensure success of the pilot program.  SiteLabs is based near Clemson, SC so this will be based in or close to the intervention area.  Weekly on-site pharmacy visits will be expected along with attendance of screening events in-pharmacy or at local employers or in the community, etc. The ideal candidate has healthcare and community engagement experience, preferably including managing health screening events.

1099 contract 

Planned start date: October 1, 2024

Compensation Range: $25-$35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications with success based incentives

Estimated Hours:  10-25 hours per week

Primary Duties:

• Develop & manage relationships with participating pharmacies
• Onboard pharmacy staff on the wellness screening and point of care testing processes
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage community groups and organizations
• Initiate and cultivate partnerships with local businesses and educational institutions that promote wellness screenings and ensure pharmacies meet their monthly wellness screening targets
• Organize and help run wellness events within program budget for each independent pharmacy in their community
• Monitor wellness visit documentation and processes on the SiteLabs Platform
• Troubleshoot test or software issues for pharmacy staff
• Monitor & restock testing supplies at each participating pharmacy
• Attend virtual weekly check-in with SiteLabs Team and Cone Health Team as needed
• Provide progress reports to manager
• Work with SiteLabs Team to collect program data in order to effectively measure and communicate impact
• Contribute to the development of appropriate community engagement / marketing material to promote the program 

Education and Qualifications:

• Nursing degree, healthcare degree, pharmacist or pharmacy technician preferred 
• Demonstrated experience in managing events in healthcare environment
• Willing and able to travel within the assigned geographical region (Current locations include Greensboro, Asheboro, Reidsville, Madison)
• Effective verbal & written communication skills
• Marketing and CRM experience a plus
• Respects others and able to maintain strong community and professional relationships
• Maintains a positive attitude, growth mindset, and an orientation towards teamwork.
• Excellent prioritization, organization, and communication skills
• Strategic planning and problem solving skills
• Proficient with digital tools including Google Suite: Drive, Slides, Docs, Sheets
• 3 years related work experience 
• Ability to work independently and remotely 
• Comfortable working within diverse populations
• Passionate about health equity and healthcare accessibility
