Position Overview
As a key member of our team, the Yard Supervisor directs the activities of Yard Associates and plays a hands-on role in all yard activities. The Yard Supervisor helps organize product for deliveries to job sites, monitors all activities for safety compliance, promotes stellar customer service, and maintains the overall organization of the branch.
What you'll do:
- Directing traffic in the brush yard
- Enforcing the Brush Yard SOP and making sure the customers are following
- Policing the yard for debris
- Assisting the brush pull associate with customers
- Collect poker chips from customers to turn into the manager
Skills We Are Seeking
- Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Must be safety-minded and aware of applicable safety requirements relative to equipment used
- Must be customer-focused and an enthusiastic, dependable team player
- Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
- Experience in landscape, nursery, hardscape, irrigation, or forestry industry a plus
- Experience operating equipment such as a forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader also a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
