The Plumbing Field Supervisor is responsible for promoting teamwork, resolving issues, and maintaining high-quality workmanship to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervision and Team Management :
Coordinate and supervise plumbing teams on various projects.
Assign tasks to technicians based on skill levels and project requirements.
Provide training, guidance, and support to plumbing staff.
Monitor performance and provide feedback to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
Project Coordination :
Plan and schedule plumbing projects, considering timelines and resource allocation.
Coordinate with site managers, facilities, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Conduct site inspections to assess progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with specifications.
Resource Management :
Manage inventory of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate procurement of supplies as needed for projects.
Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Quality Assurance and Compliance :
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to address deficiencies and improve performance.
Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution :
Address technical issues and provide solutions to plumbing challenges.

Qualifications and Skills :
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
Proven experience as a plumber, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
