This Army Community Hospital is a medical facility that provides an extensive variety of inpatient/outpatient medical services to eligible military beneficiaries. Within the hospital's 10 floors, four of which are patient wards, an extensive surgical suite with same-day capabilities, a labor-delivery and recovery suite, and over 36 ambulatory care clinics. This Army Community Hospital maintains a fully accredited laboratory service, diagnostic radiology with computerized tomography and nuclear medicine, extensive pharmacy service, and many other ancillary support services.
Job Description
- Serve as specialist in Pulmonary disease/critical care
- Bronchoscopy Pulmonary Functional Testing Polysomnography Thoracentesis Tube thoracotomy And other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- MUST BE BOARD CERTIFIED
- Successfully completed a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from a school in the US or Canada approved by a recognizing accredited body in the year of the applicant’s application.
- Graduates of foreign medical schools are required to possess both a medical license and other certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or 5th Pathway.
- Successfully completed a post-graduate medical training program in Gynecology and Obstetrics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a physician in any of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Shall have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted DEA certificate.
- Shall possess a Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) number as required by state agencies where the provider is licensed.
