Shop Technician
Job Summary:
The Shop Technician will assist with the set-up, maintenance, repairs, and other daily activities regarding Site Stream security camera equipment including.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assembling camera units in the shop. This involves using power tools, some painting and using computers to program and setup camera units
- Repairing and retrofitting cameras that come in the shop
- Assisting in field calls to repair, setup and move camera units
- Asset management and tracking
- Analysis for future product needs
- Site security analysis to determine site needs and proper setup -
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate, trouble-shoot, set-up, and maintain company cameras, equipment, and associated software.
- Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft suite.
- Must maintain active driver’s license.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a similar position, or demonstrated ability to thrive in this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse the various sites.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Maintain DOT license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
