What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full time sitter for infant at 3 months position at Sittercity.com?
We are first time parents, looking for a nanny when our baby arrives and my maternity leave ends. I work remotely and am hoping to continue breastfeeding which is why we are hoping to have a nanny. We do have 3 large breed dogs, but the nanny will not be expected to care for them as I will be home. Baby is expected in early March, so we would need a nanny by early June (start date won't let me select past March).
I am hoping they can help care for baby while I'm working by getting them to sleep, doing tummy time, soothing them when they cry. If you could help care for the baby when they are sick that would be helpful, but we also understand that may not be feasible. If you have time while baby naps, helping with keeping the nursery clean or throwing in a load of baby clothes would be helpful. However, we expect caring for baby to take up the bulk of the time.
I work 9am - 5pm, so someone who can help during those hours would be great. We can be a little flexible on Mondays and Fridays with times as needed.
