Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personalized care. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in accordance with their individual needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Support clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship
- Take client to activities in the community
Requirements:
- Prior experience in nursing homes, or assisted living facilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
