We are looking for a Summer Intern for the Commercial Real Estate Mortgage Warehousing team of our client, a multi-billion-dollar financial services institution (the "Bank"). In this role, the new hire will be focusing on the breadth of activities associated with the origination, asset management and surveillance of commercial real estate (“CRE”) mortgage warehouse facilities across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. In this role, you will be working directly with premier institutional clients – including private and public REITs, private equity, and commercial real estate finance companies - and partnering with them on the financing of a wide array of commercial real estate transactions. Given our client's unique culture and structure, candidates will be exposed to clients/senior stakeholders and experience the full range activities that happen across the transaction lifecycle.
Internship Program Description
Our summer internship is a seven-week program for undergraduate students designed to fully immerse you in the day-to-day activities of our team. The internship runs from May 19, 2025, to June 27, 2025.
Essential Job Functions
The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$25.00 - $25.00
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.

Essential Job Functions
- Partner with public and private REITs, private equity firms and commercial real estate finance companies providing liquidity to finance the acquisition, refinancing and development of commercial real estate across all asset types.
- Review client due diligence packages (including client investment memos, third-party reports, market information, sponsor financials, etc.). Manage re-underwriting of assets and evaluation/approval of credit risk.
- Review monthly property level financial statements and rent rolls, as well as leasing, construction, and servicer reports.
- Construct Asset Management Reports (AMR’s) and Asset Summary Reports (ASRs), with cash flow models.
- Perform credit analysis and diligence activities associated with the origination of new warehouse finance facilities.
- Demonstrable interest in real estate
- Coursework, co-curricular activities, or experience in commercial real estate.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate finance and performance metrics.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint®. Ability to work with large datasets to process and process results. Knowledge of ARGUS is a plus.
- Highly developed organizational and project/time-management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills under pressure.
- A strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and Hanover's guiding principles.
- A demonstrable ability to work both independently and effectively with team members in diverse groups and regions.
