All offers of employment are contingent upon board approval and the applicant’s satisfactory completion of a drug screening test (including marijuana), background and reference checks. Siuslaw School District strives to provide a safe, alcohol and drug free environment for all employees.
The Siuslaw School District allows a maximum of 3 years of outside experience on the salary schedule.
HEAD CROSS COUNTRY COACH, COACHING, EXTRA DUTY, SIUSLAW MIDDLE SCHOOL
Dates Needed: August 2025 - October 2026
Salary: Based upon experience/SEA union salary base
Duties and Responsibilities: To assist in building and sustaining a competitive and fulfilling program for everyone involved in the program. To be able to effectively coach and model skills, work ethic and values inherent to a strong program. This position requires positive communication skills regarding all expectations and requirements of a cross country program connected to academics, safety and skill level.
Knowledge and Ability: The coach should possess a strong fundamental knowledge of cross country and have the ability to communicate effectively with middle school students and athletes, and possess proper OSAA certifications.
