POSITION SUMMARY The Sr. HR Manager is responsible for strengthening employee relations and workforce effectiveness to enhance our culture, achieve strategic goals, increase retention, and drive overall business success. This role will be key in driving various HR processes within the organization including the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and special projects. Hybrid design of one day a week of working from home can be effective. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leads, manages, and makes recommendations for best practices related to HR processes and practices that drive employee and business success. Creates and implements recruiting and retention strategies in concert with business leadership. Develops and manages a wide variety of HR Projects while keeping up to date on the latest developments in HR processes and practices, evaluating and recommending new solutions and best practices. Assists with creating a work environment that supports positive employee engagement. Develops and maintains documentation, policies, and procedures for core HR systems, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Act as a trusted mentor to people managers in navigating leadership and people matters, including talent development, engagement, and performance. Models SixAxis values and builds strong, trusting relationships with all levels of the organization to achieve positive personal and business results. Partners with business leaders to create and implement training and development programs. May lead other Human Resources Team members. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment / labor laws and regulations. Other duties as business needs dictate.
