WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking a dynamic individual to develop and lead a high-performance Operations team which includes Ride Operations, Front Gate, Aquatics, and Park Service. In this position, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of Rides, Front Gate, Aquatics and Park Services departments to ensure an overall premium guest experience.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

• Oversees the professional development of department leadership teams
• Works closely with the Maintenance and Safety Departments to minimize ride downtime, maximize safety and throughput of all rides and attractions.
• Motivates team to provide fast service, striving to achieve each ride’s hourly offered throughput, while driving a culture of providing a premium guest experience.
• Positively impacts guest satisfaction by championing guest friendliness programs and initiatives. Ensures teams are proactively guest friendly and that guest first standards are followed and enforced. Handles guest concerns and responds to guest comments.
• Ensures that all park areas, including front and back of the house, are guest ready and maintain a standard of excellence for cleanliness and organization.
• Works with the Human Resources team to recruit, interview, place, train, and facilitate employee relations programs, creating a positive, diverse, inclusive, and high performing team culture.
• Responsible for implementation and compliance with all Corporate, Park and departmental policies and procedures.
• Long- and short-term planning, creating, managing and supervising all aspects of Park Operations.
• Responsible for developing an operating budget for the department, managing expenditures and monthly financial forecasts.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State and local aquatic health code along with Ellis & Associates policies and procedures.
• Responsible for administering team member schedules and ensuring there is appropriate coverage.
• Maintains day-to-day supervisory patrols and presence throughout the park property.
• Willing to cross train and assist with all other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or Senior Management.
• Serves as Department and Park Duty Manager as assigned.
• Enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Three (3) years of management experience, preferably in a theme park Operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
• Self-driven and strategic professional with the ability to select, train, and lead a diverse team.
• Organized and detail-oriented. Strong initiative, Energetic. Outgoing. Can-do attitude.
• Strong leadership, organization and computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills as well as organizational, administrative, and public relations skills.
• Must be able to work all types of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to walk long distances, stand for long periods, have excellent vision (corrected, if applicable), work in high places, and safely lift a maximum of 60 lbs.
• Able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
• Reports to the Director of Operations.
