In-Home Flooring Sales Associate

Six-S Flooring is a family-owned and operated flooring store located in Port St. Lucie, FL. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality flooring solutions to our clients. We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Outside Sales Associate with prior experience in the flooring industry to join our team.

The Outside Sales Associate will play a key role in guiding customers through the flooring selection process, ensuring their needs are met with the best solutions. This position requires a passion for sales and design, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice to help clients select flooring solutions that fit their needs.
• Engage with customers both in-store and over the phone in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow up with walk-in customers and online leads to earn their business.
• Schedule and conduct in-home measurement and design consultations
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, effectively communicating features and benefits to customers.
• Generate accurate estimates and quotes for customer projects.
• Manage the sales process from start to finish, including communication with vendors and installers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Handle incoming inquiries via phone, schedule appointments, and provide detailed guidance throughout the sales and installation process.
• Assist with managing purchase orders and inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Engage in outside sales activities to grow the customer base and increase revenue.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in the flooring industry is required.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and willing to learn new software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional follow-up and sales skills, with a proactive approach to customer engagement.
• Have a desire and the capability to learn about products and design trends to assist customers in making informed decisions.
• The ability to take precise measurements and generate accurate quotes for flooring projects.

Skills

• Familiarity with interior flooring design principles and trends.
• Basic math skills for generating accurate and precise quotes
• Experience in account management to foster long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to conduct effective product demos that highlight key features.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

Experience:
