We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our development team in building innovative cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with proven leadership abilities to drive product development from early stage through market launch, with a focus on Cloud Perimeter Security and Attack Surface Management (ASM).
SixMap is the leading Automated Cyber Defense Platform for continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) across today’s largest, most complex, and dynamic enterprise and government environments. With zero network impact and zero agents, SixMap automatically discovers all Internet-facing assets across IPv4 and IPv6 to deliver the most comprehensive external attack surface visibility. The platform identifies vulnerabilities, correlates proprietary and open-source threat intelligence, and provides actionable insights to defend against imminent threats with supervised proactive response capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a small engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
- Own the technical strategy and roadmap for our cybersecurity product development
- Make key architectural decisions while balancing technical debt, feature development, and market needs
- Collaborate with product management, sales, and leadership to define and execute product vision
- Establish engineering best practices, processes, and metrics
- Drive recruitment, mentorship, and professional development of engineering talent
- Manage technical aspects of customer and partner relationships
- Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in Senior Leadership meetings to drive the company's overall strategy
