What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist (Per diem) position at Sixteen Acres Healthcare Center?
The receptionist is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities including but not limited to customer service, answering and directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution and requisition of supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers and directs the callers to the appropriate associates directing to voicemail and taking messages when required.
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
- Receives sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
- Applies “5 Star” customer service approach in all aspects of job.
- Actively supports Bear Mountain commitment to providing “5 Star” service on all quality objectives, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training preferred
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office and other software programs. Demonstrated keyboarding skills required.
