Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals while establishing, modifying and enforcing child support orders. This position requires a strong communication skills, ability to manage an extensive caseload in compliance with federal timeframes; Collaborate with other staff members and staff attorney on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with agency policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
- Determine appropriate actions to be taken on cases.
- Prepare legal documents
- Effectively communicate with customer and others verbally and in writing.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Preform tasks accurately, with attention to detail, in compliance with federal and state rules, laws, and policies
- Maintain confidentiality
- calculate customers incomes and child support amounts
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. Some college level courses and/or clerical work experience, including fiscal responsibilities and/or legal process experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all customer interactions.
