POSITION SUMMARY:
SJA, Inc. is currently accepting applications to fill the position of HR Manager at our Dadeville, AL location.
Job Type:
Full-Time, On-Site only
Starting Salary:
$55,000 ~ (To be determined after the evaluation)
Expected Hours:
Mon-Fri.
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively recruit and hire strong candidates who will positively impact our company.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a smooth start into their roles for newly hired employees.
- Collaborate with team members and staff to identify potential candidate sources.
- Schedule and coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Write business correspondence.
- Create internal forms and write procedures.
- Assist with recruiting tasks such as reviewing application, conducting hiring/onboarding, and following up with candidates.
- Compile and manage employee documentation and records, and keep the employee data up to date.
- Prioritize and managing workload to meet critical deadlines.
- Provide reporting and project updates to team lead and/or senior management.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and record to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assist the HR managers with formulating policies, procedures, and changes, as well as communicating all updates to employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keeping.
- Must demonstrate an intermediate level of knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Tact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with employee compensation programs, such as 401(k), insurance benefits, and other related packages, is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel is highly regarded
