ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and lead a team of box office staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Implement sales strategies to maximize ticket revenue, including pricing strategies, promotional offers, and upselling techniques.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of ticket sales, refunds, exchanges, and other transactions using computerized ticketing systems.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of event schedules, seating plans, and venue policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Collaborate with event organizers, promoters, and venue management to coordinate ticketing requirements and resolve any issues related to ticket sales.
- Prepare reports on ticket sales, revenue projections, and attendance metrics.
- Monitor box office inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure an adequate supply of tickets and promotional materials.
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of box office equipment, including computers, printers, and ticket scanners.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, data security standards, and customer privacy laws.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and excellence in customer service.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ticketing and event management.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

- Proven experience in box office management, event builds, ticket sales, or customer service, preferably in a live entertainment or event venue setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, ticketing laws, and data privacy standards is desirable.
- Maintain a fulltime presence on the job.
- This role oversees the Ponte Vedra Box Office, managing Coordinators and Cashiers, while also handling select duties at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre or other SJCCE venues or events as assigned.
- Responsible for performance reviews, interviewing, coaching/discipline, and daily management of duties.
- Bachelor’s degree or three to five years of relevant experience in dynamic ticketing required.
- Experience with Ticketmaster, AXS, or similar ticketing platforms required.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
