What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative/Online Sales position at SJF Material Handling Inc.?
SJF Material Handling Inc. is looking to hire a full time Customer Service Representative for our online store. This is an inside Customer Service position, working out of SJF's headquarters in Winsted, MN. Applicants must be willing to work Monday through Friday in our office. Compensation is base pay.
Job Description :
- Service new or existing accounts by providing quotes, documenting customer information, and creating sales orders
- Provide same-day follow-up on all company-provided leads and client requests
- Provide pricing and product information to new and existing customers that contact SJF by phone or email
- Provide freight quotes on quotes / orders to customers and provide follow up and support regarding freight issues and / or freight claim services
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to resolve issues should they arise
- Manage customer and supplier price lists
- Manage sales tax exemptions
- Be an active team participant and provide support to cross-functioning teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
