Summary
Loads & unloads trucks, enter materials into inventory, pulling and shipping finished parts, maintain accurate inventory counts, and moving materials throughout the shop via forklift or other warehouse machinery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
1. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or product to be moved.
2. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets racks, and shelves by hand or with a lift truck.
3. Packages small items for UPS, FedEx, and customer pickup.
4. Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, or stretch wrapping, to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
5. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
6. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
7. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved.
8. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information pallets, and other containers.
9. Loads trucks for shipping of product.
10. Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to QC inspection for analysis.
11. Moves raw materials to assist in loading of production machinery.
12. Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products from delivery trucks.
13. Pulls and selects orders for shipment.
14. Schedules shipments and plan logistics to ensure sufficient storage space for incoming items.
15. Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
16. Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
17. Acts as back up Shipping Lead when needed, including:
a. Handling shipments for multiple customers.
i. Creating packing slips, picklists, coordinating shipments with Shipping & Receiving team members, email correspondence with customers.
b. Inventory Receipts
c. Purchase Order Receipts
d. Bin Transfers in System
18. Other job duties to be performed as necessary.

The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
