Role and Responsibilities:
NOTE: At this time, we have an urgent need for bilingual Employee Relations Specialists (Spanish and/or Korean language). Candidates with these language proficiencies will be given priority.
Employee Morale, Motivation, and Satisfaction Improvement
- Implement measures to increase employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction, while reducing turnover
- May conduct employee engagement surveys, work lifestyle programs, on-boarding programs, diversity and inclusion programs and training, etc.
Coaching and Training
- Support coaching of managers and employees through the performance management process
- Support training sessions for managers to improve employee relations and people skills
Employee Relations Issues Monitoring
- Investigate employee and/or supervisor complaints regarding conduct, performance, or attendance
- Mediate between employees
- Monitor diversity/equal employment opportunity program compliance
- Monitor internal complaints/disputes that may lead to labor unionization
- Monitor external labor union trends and movement
- Other HR-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
- 3 years of employee relations experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Spanish and/or Korean language proficiency preferred
