About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at SK Food Group Inc. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.
The HR Coordinator will assist with day-to-day operations of the human resource office, including employee relations, company-employee communications, and benefits administration. This role requires a team player who can maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive matters appropriately, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate employee information, including personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, and termination details.
- Process employment applications and support other employment activities as needed.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientations to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.
- Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized personnel.
- Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports such as the OSHA 300 and others.
- Maintain accident and injury reports.
- Assist with policy, procedure, program, and benefit administration.
- Conduct employee orientation meetings to discuss policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Update employee time systems.
- Perform general office duties.
- Interpret for individuals who do not speak or read English or Spanish.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
