Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical history and current health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform medical procedures such as venipuncture and gastric lavage when necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing patient conditions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Respond to emergencies with basic life support skills and participate in critical care transport when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Experience
- A valid Registered Nurse license is required.
- Experience in internal medicine or critical care nursing is preferred.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments is a plus.
- Previous experience in travel nursing or working in a Level II Trauma Center is advantageous.
- Proficiency in performing venipuncture and other essential nursing skills is necessary.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.
