Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and strengths.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide counseling services including child family counseling, addiction counseling, and group therapy.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in their treatment process.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure client safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with disabilities or other complex needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ICD-9 standards and organizational policies.
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding available services and support systems.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and access to necessary services within the community.
Requirements
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure is preferred.
- Experience working with children, families, or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques is a plus.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, diagnostic evaluation, and group therapy are essential.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing methods is beneficial for client engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
