We are seeking a Service Advisors to join our Power Sports dealerships. Our company was started in 1999 and has grown every year. Come work in our new facility on the Willamette River three blocks South of OMSI. Enjoy working around fun toys, making relationships, and keeping our service dept humming!
We service motorized recreational vehicles; ATVs, Snowmobiles, Personal Watercraft, Boats, Side by Sides, Motorcycles, Spyders, Electric Vehicles, etc. We have a solid established shop with a good reputation, but we have goals to raise our level of service to the next level. Candidates need to have drive, good work ethic, be confident but grounded, and have strong communication skills on phone, in person, and typing. We have a solid shop of Technicians, a great facility, and strong ownership support.
Service Writer candidates need to be helpful, positive, have good typing skills. Have customer service skills. This job involves moving from station, to greeting customers in our drive thru, running down check lists, directing movement of units, communications with customer and technician, and getting all our customers concerns recorded onto a repair order. This is a sales job -- selling TIME & KNOWLEDGE -- making sure customers & Techs are well taken care of in an efficient manner.
Receive Customer Units - Write up Repair Order - Communicate with all parties
Answering the Phones, responding to customer requests by email, text, phone, etc.
Running VINS - Warranty Claims through four manufactures; pre-delivery new units/normal warranty claim/campaigns/etc.
Scheduling and Organizing shop flow of units, parts, and jobs
Coordination between Parts Dept and Techs
Follow up Emails/Texts/Calls status and after service complete
Closing out customer invoices
Claiming Warranties with OEMs
Pay
$18-19/hrly Base Commission or Profit Share
Service Advisors have the opportunity to advance into Shop Foreman and Service Manager roles in time by adding leadership and direction to the department. Experience in running a crew, prioritizing, making lists for staff, some management background, expand menu pricing, over see warranty claims, movement of units, parts, and assigning Technicians work. Seeking thoroughness, organization, and ability to talk with Technicians and then change gears talking with customers. Having any background in our industry or being an enthusiast is helpful. We have the greatest customers but expectations are rising every year.

Working with OEM & after market on Warranty Claims

Directing Training and Staff Growth
Hiring Firing of personnel in this dept -- after walking running doing Budgets
Deal with managing customer expectations or upset customers
Should know everything going on in shop
