Job Description:

  • Be knowledgeable about the products and services SK&T offers end users.
  • Support the Sales Team in all sales activities
  • Prepare quotes for house accounts and follow-up accordingly.
  • Responsible for maintaining master quotes for house accounts to include replacing obsolete items, updating new vendor costs, and work on pricing with the Sales Team.
  • Manage product discounts with vendors (PR, PE, DR, PC) to include tracking, updating, and renewing.
  • Consult with existing and potential customers on business needs and make product recommendations.
  • Work with sales engineer to configure products for SK&T customers.
  • Research and compare pricing, provide Sales Team with pricing recommendations for review.
  • Work with Sales team to manage, review and analyze ordering trends and reach out to customers.
  • Update, track and close out leads and opportunities in the CRM. 
  • Follow up on vendor leads assigned by Management.
  • Work with Customer Service to track orders and notify customers of any back orders or delays.
  • Drive sales within accounts assigned by Sales Director, President & Founder
  • Follow up on vendor leads assigned by the Sales Director
  • Preprint Jobs – assist with quote, design, setup, instructions as needed.
  • Custom Labels – assist with label design, quoting and ordering.
  • Manage and quote service contracts and service contract renewals and ensure they are documented up to date in the CRM, accordingly.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned  

 

Job Requirements

  • BS in Business or equivalent experience, advanced degree a plus!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Strong Excel Skills a must (formulas and formatting)
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, external and internal.
  • Willingness to engage with customers and vendors over phone and email
  • Ability to foresee customer needs and proactively facilitate
  • Driven, team player, focused on continuous improvement and personal development.
  • Problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Desire to learn – product and industry knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented with a high-regard for organization.
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced constantly changing environment.
  • Standard in office hours 7:30am-4:30pm, in this salaried role flexibility and willingness to work beyond those hours to get job done.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
